What Should You Do If Affirmations Don’t Work?

writing blog post cover

I believe there is a major flaw with affirmations.
And I suspect that I’m not the only one who feels this way.
I used to repeat the things for YEARS. I had stickers all over my bedroom wall, I repeated them out loud every day and… nothing.
After what seemed like an eternity, I was still miserable, the future was bleak, and I certainly didn’t get rich.
Luckily, I had a eureka moment. In the shower (obviously).

Our Brains are Wired to Solve Questions

When you repeat an affirmation you don’t believe in, what’s your first response?
Yeah, right..!
“I am rich and successful.” Yeah, right..!
“I am going to meet the love of my life next week.” Yeah, of COURSE I will.
“I am a talented athlete.” Sure..!
When your affirmations don’t work, what advice do you get? Keep repeating it until it (eventually) becomes true! How long is THAT going to take?!
On the flip side, our minds are wired to look for solutions to questions, not statements.
As soon as you ask a question, you automatically start looking for an answer:
Why is the sky blue?
Even if you don’t know the answer to the question, you will look for any evidence you think can help you. Maybe because of the…
So instead of trying to convince yourself of something you don’t believe, why not try asking a question?

Turn Your Affirmations Into Questions

Affirmations are just incomplete questions. Instead of “I am rich,” ask yourself,Why am I rich?”.
You get a totally different (and automatic) response:
I can afford water, shelter, and food…
I can start putting money into savings soon…
I have a steady paycheck…
Instead of trying to believe in a statement, you are now looking for all the reasons why you are rich, which is a much more effective and empowering way in attracting positive things into your life.

This Changes Everything

I never realized just how powerful this is.
After I started asking myself questions instead of repeating affirmations, my life transformed before my eyes.
My days were full of gratitude instead of just waiting around for something to happen. My wishes became a reality in record time and I’ve been sharing my discovery ever since.
Don’t get me wrong – affirmations work. But not for everybody.
Some of us just haven’t built up the self-belief or don’t trust that affirmations will work.
This is your solution. I hope you try it and it serves you well.

Taking the Mystery out of Meditation

For many people, the word “meditation” conjures up images of monks in a monastery, draped in long, flowing garments as they sit around in silence seeking that oh-so-elusive state of enlightenment. But, really, that’s not what it is at all.

It might surprise you to learn that you can practice meditation anywhere and at any time. In fact, if you weren’t busy reading this article, you could do it right now. All it takes is a few minutes of your time and the ability to focus on something. So why do so many people struggle with the concept?

You probably know that meditation began thousands of years ago as a spiritual practice. But we’re in the 21st century now, things have moved on a lot since then, and it’s time to get rid of the myths and old wives’ tales surrounding meditation and muddying the waters once and for all.

If you’ve ever tried it, you’ll know this is literally impossible. The idea is not to empty your mind, but to slow it down so you can regain a bit of perspective.

Who’s got that kind of time? It’s better to meditate for 5 or 10 minutes every day than not at all. Just sit somewhere and focus on your breathing. Simple, right?

Basic meditation is achievable by anyone. You can do it as you walk to the bus or tube station, or when you’re soaking in the tub. Find something to focus on like your breathing or your footsteps. Your mind will wander, but just bring it back to what you were focusing on and… voila! That’s meditation.

Geeks can meditate if they want to, but so can everyone else. You don’t have to learn Sanskrit to do it – just sit somewhere and breathe. You’ll be joining a group of more than 30 million Americans, including NFL players and US Marines. They can’t all be geeks, can they?

No, it’s not difficult at all. The only difficult part is getting started, finding the opportunity to meditate that first time. And speaking of time…

How long do you spend checking messages on your phone? Reading updates on Facebook? Watching TV? Sending Tweets? You’ve got plenty of time to spare – so take 5 or 10 minutes to do something that will seriously benefit your physical and mental health.

The secret is to fit meditation into your lifestyle. Spend a few minutes in the garden breathing in the aromas around you. Close your eyes and listen to the sounds in your neighborhood. Take 2 minutes before you get out of bed in the morning to think about the people you love. They’re all examples of simple, practical methods of meditation, and you don’t have to be a monk to achieve any of them.

Remember the phrase no pain, no gain? Here’s a new one to get familiar with: sit back and blossom…

Meditation used to be thought of as a mysterious practice that only specially trained yogis could master. But with some 30 million Americans meditating on a regular basis, including the US Marines and members of the NFL, more and more people are tuning in to its power and potential than ever before.

So what makes meditation so attractive to people from so many different backgrounds and walks of life?

One reason lies in its simplicity. Anyone can meditate, anywhere, at any time of the day. All you need to be able to do it is some time to yourself. That could be a few minutes alone in a quiet room, or it could just as easily be a walk in the park, or a few laps in your local pool.

You don’t have to shut your eyes and try to concentrate; instead, try switching off your phone and devices, go outside, breathe in some fresh air, and let your senses be filled with whatever you happen to come across. Even if you don’t consciously try to meditate, you’ll be alone with your thoughts, whatever they might be, and that’s all it takes to practice meditating.

If you’re still not sure, here are three good reasons why regular meditation might make a big difference in your life:

Meditation has been proven to boost the immune system, make it easier to manage pain, fill you with positive emotions, and give you a feeling of self-satisfaction. It also decreases anxiety and stress, making it the simplest and least expensive form of therapy you’re ever likely to experience.

Research shows that meditation actually increases the volume of your brain and the grey matter associated with thinking and memory. A few minutes meditating every day could improve your powers of concentration and help you remember things with greater clarity and detail. Not bad for just sitting around and basically doing nothing.

You might think that the nature of meditation could result in feelings of loneliness or isolation. But, oddly enough, the reverse is true. Regular meditation has been shown to increase positive emotions and decrease feelings of depression, making it easier to connect and interact with others. It keeps you balanced and centered so that you feel more like spending time with other people.

You can meditate in your bed before you get up in the morning or before going to sleep at night. You can meditate while having a relaxing soak in a nice hot bath. You can meditate on an airplane to help pass the time on a long journey. In fact, you can meditate wherever you are, at any time of the day, as long as you have the time and the inclination to do so.

Think of meditation as me-time, a few minutes every day where you get to focus on the most important person in your life: you. Give it a try and you’ll discover it’s not actually as difficult as you imagine.

If you’re keen to try meditation, having heard how popular and beneficial it can be, here is a list of things you’ll need to help you get started:

  • You
  • Time

Small list, isn’t it? Surprisingly, you don’t need to wrap yourself up in a pair of curtains. You don’t need to get into the lotus position. You don’t need a fancy yoga mat or a book of mantras. As long as you’ve got a couple of minutes to spare and you’re still breathing, you’ve got everything you need to start meditating right now.

Seriously, here’s what you really need to be able to meditate:

  • 5 or 10 minutes of free time
  • The willingness to try it
  • Somewhere quiet you can concentrate

Don’t get hung up on the word “meditation” – it just means allowing yourself to experience a little peace. To practice it yourself, you only need to sit down or lie down and focus on your breathing. Try this simple exercise to see how easy it can be:

  1. Sit/lie down in a comfortable place
  2. Breathe in and out slowly and deeply
  3. Count each “in” breath and “out” breath
  4. If your mind wanders, start counting over again

That’s all there is to it. Meditation can be as simple as focusing on something (in this case your own breath) and relaxing into the moment. You could just as easily focus on the light fixture above your head. Or you could close your eyes and focus on an image in your mind. Or you could go for a walk and focus on your feet hitting the ground. It doesn’t matter where you are or what you focus on, though, because with this kind of meditation, it’s the focusing that’s important.

Meditation helps you to slow your mind down. In a world where so many things are vying for your attention throughout the day, your brain gets overloaded with stuff. That makes it hard to give your attention to any one thing in particular and hard to take stock of what’s going on around you.

There are two things you need to remember about meditation. The first thing is that it’s really just another way to take a quick break, to give yourself some time out from the hectic pace of life. And everybody needs that now and then.

The second thing to remember is that when you switch off from the busy, noisy life around you, your mind will start to wander. Thoughts and feelings will come floating up into your brain. Let them come. You can’t clear your mind, as some suggest, because that’s impossible. Instead, keep returning to whatever it is you’re focusing on.

And remember this crucial fact: how you feel when you’re meditating isn’t really the goal of the exercise – it’s how you feel afterwards that counts. People who meditate on a regular basis will tell you they feel more centered, more balanced, more connected to the world around them. They’re able to focus with more intensity, which makes them more productive. They feel happy and content because they’ve had the time to chill out and put their lives into perspective.

Try it yourself for a couple of weeks to see what a difference it can make to your world.

What Hypnosis Can Do for You ?

Hypnosis – huh – what is it good for? Absolutely anything.

That might be a slight exaggeration, but the truth is that hypnosis is being used more and more regularly to treat a wide range of conditions. Apart from its well-known benefits to help people quit smoking, lose weight, gain confidence, and a host of other self-help issues, the practice is gaining wider acceptance in the treatment of illness and disease.

One of the problems with hypnosis is the word itself. It’s been hyped to the max in Hollywood movies and the like, when in reality hypnosis is nothing like that. Hypnotizing someone by asking them to look into your eyes as you swing a pocket watch back and forth will be about as effective – and as successful – as asking your bank manager for a loan you don’t have to pay back.

People fear the idea of hypnosis more than hypnosis itself, because they simply don’t really understand what it is. They wonder if they’ll go into a trance from which they won’t be able to wake up, or if the hypnotherapist will implant some wicked command in their mind as part of an evil scheme. But neither of these things could ever happen to anyone.

When you allow yourself to be hypnotized, the so-called “trance-like state” you enter is simply a state of focused attention. Your mind is relaxed, which makes it easier for you to accept suggestions and imagine possibilities. But you have to want to be hypnotized; you have to want to make changes in your life, or there isn’t a person on earth who can force you.

So what can you use hypnosis for? The practical applications are growing in number all the time and they include, among other things, the treatment of:

Hypnosis has also been successfully used to facilitate dental and surgical procedures without the need for anesthesia. When used to help people kick bad habits, such as quitting smoking or losing weight, hypnotherapy is effective in at least fifty per cent of cases. It can even be employed to lower a person’s blood pressure.

Don’t let the idea of hypnosis keep you from experiencing it. In fact, you’ve already experienced it without even realizing! If you’ve ever found yourself daydreaming while reading a book or watching a movie, that’s exactly what hypnosis is like. You lose yourself in what you’re doing, and your attention is focused entirely on the act you’re performing to the exclusion of everything else.

During hypnotherapy, the therapist helps you achieve this daydream-like state on purpose. You shut out all external stimuli and direct your attention to a single thought, helping fire up your imagination and switch off your logical conscious mind. And that’s when you are most susceptible to suggestions.

If there’s an issue in your life you need to resolve, mental or physical, then maybe it’s time you thought about hypnosis as a possible solution. These days you can find a qualified hypnotherapist in any city, or you might prefer to tackle the problem in the comfort of your own home using hypnosis audio MP3s. Whichever route you decide to take, hypnosis could turn out to be your new best friend.

Hypnosis is gaining worldwide recognition as an effective way to treat a whole host of conditions and illnesses, with documented evidence proving its ability to ease the symptoms of everything from asthma to warts.

For some people, however, even the idea of being hypnotized seems a bit radical, a step too far. But understanding the nature of hypnosis might just help you take advantage of one of the simplest and least invasive therapies on the planet.

You can access hypnosis in a number of ways. Hypnotherapy involves visiting a practitioner who will guide you into a hypnotic state, using scripts designed specifically to help with your particular problem. That can be difficult for some to cope with, possibly because they don’t feel comfortable sharing their secrets with others, or possibly because they feel deep down that it’s a waste of time and money.

Another way to get the benefit of hypnosis is through recorded sessions. These are available on reputable sites as audio downloads, usually in the form of MP3s that can be played on just about any device these days. You simply download the session that suits your problem or condition, plug in your headphones, and listen. The recording is designed to do the same job as a hypnotherapist, taking you through the process with a specially designed script. With headphones on, the outside world is shut off, making it easier for you to enter the state of suggestibility that hypnosis creates.

The thing you need to remember about hypnosis is that you don’t lose control of your mind. A hypnotherapist will not take over your thought processes and force you to do something against your will. That’s Hollywood bunkum and is literally impossible.

The same is true when you listen to recorded hypnosis sessions. You won’t get stuck in a trance-like state, even if something goes wrong and the recording skips or repeats itself. When your subconscious mind has had enough, it’ll either let you drift off to sleep or bring you back to normal wakefulness.

People develop these misconceptions for lots of different reasons, but the truth is that you can’t be hypnotized in the horror movie sense. What the hypnotherapist or recording does is makes it possible for you to enter a state of focused attention. They guide you into deep relaxation, switching off from the everyday world, bringing you into a dreamy state where your imagination is heightened and you’re more open to suggestion. So the only real question is – will it work for you?

Research has shown that people who approach the experience of hypnosis with an open mind respond better than those who are skeptical. Some statistics regarding a person’s ability to be hypnotized are available, and they include the following facts:

  • At least 15 per cent of people respond well to hypnosis
  • Only 10 per cent of adults are difficult to hypnotize
  • Children are more susceptible to hypnosis than adults as a rule
  • The more vivid your imagination, the easier it is for you to enter a hypnotic state

Positive thinkers, children, and people with a vivid imagination are all likely to be able to be hypnotized. When you think of the potential for hypnosis to help manage pain, ease suffering, break bad habits and generally improve your quality of life, you’d have to be seriously hard-nosed not to want to at least give it a try.

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

This is a line from the inaugural speech of President Franklin D. Roosevelt given on March 4, 1933. Although the great man wasn’t talking about phobias, there is a distinctive ring of truth in his words.

Fear is, by its very nature, irrational. No one expects to be eaten by a spider, or to be set upon in a dark alley by goblins and ghouls. But human beings have this amazing thing called an imagination, a two-edged sword that has the power to create whole universes out of thin air on the one hand, or to frighten the living daylights out of them on the other. When it’s the latter it can seriously affect your quality of life, making even the simplest tasks seem like insurmountable challenges.

Irrational fears are known as phobias, and they can be specific – as in the fear of clowns or of bridges – or more general – as in agoraphobia, the fear of both open and confined spaces. Thanks to the powerful imagination you’ve been blessed with, it’s possible to develop a phobia about almost anything, and in most cases that phobia will produce a series of reactions such as:

  • Uncontrollable panic when exposed to the source of your fear
  • Heightened anxiety levels
  • Physical reactions that might include sweating, increased heart rate, and breathing difficulties
  • The inability to function normally due to increased anxiety and stress
  • The urge to do whatever it takes to avoid encountering the object of your fear
  • Feeling powerless to defeat your fear

Often people get anxious just thinking about what causes their fear, which only serves to strengthen their emotional and physical responses in the future. Fortunately, hypnosis is one of the quickest and most effective methods for dealing with phobias.

Hypnosis works by guiding you into a state of relaxation. It lets you shut out the outside world so you can bring your attention to a specific point of focus. This can be achieved by visiting a hypnotherapist or through reputable hypnosis recordings. In both cases you’ll be brought to a point where your mind is calm and you’re open to suggestions.

Hypnosis takes advantage of the fact that our imaginations are so vivid and limitless. It helps us work through scenarios in safety and security, away from the things we fear, using the power of suggestion to change the way we think. By replacing old and outdated beliefs with new and positive ones, it’s possible to eliminate the fear and all those associated reactions from our lives for good.

Deep down you know your fear isn’t real. It’s a reaction that’s been programmed into your mind, something you learned from your parents, siblings, friends, or even through the media. The feelings have become ingrained in your subconscious, and the only way to get rid of them and the behaviors they trigger is by replacing them with others.

Hypnosis is painless, non-invasive, and has no unpleasant side-effects. In most cases you’ll simply feel like you’ve had a bit of a rest, coming back to your normal wakeful state feeling refreshed and relaxed. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all treatments and therapies could get results that left you feeling so good?

And that’s another thing that’s worth remembering. No matter how skeptical you might feel about hypnosis, it gets results – and anything that improves your quality of life has got to be worth a try.

Subliminal Messages: How Do They Work?

You’ve probably heard of subliminal messages. There are lots of urban myths about how companies and advertisers use these kinds of messages to persuade customers to act in certain ways. The truth is, however, that subliminal messages won’t make you do or feel anything you’re not already inclined to do or feel. And, ironically, that’s what makes them such effective and powerful self-development tools.

The word “subliminal” is made up of two parts: sub, which means under or below (as in submarine) and subliminal, which means threshold (as in the word limit). These kinds of messages are therefore presented “below the threshold” of your conscious mind. So even though you aren’t aware of the information, your subconscious mind picks it up and locks it away in your brain.

Here’s the thing – your subconscious mind is where the real power lies. Everything you think and believe is stored away in there. If you want to make real changes in your life, you have to be able to make changes at the subconscious level.

Imagine your subconscious mind is like a robot you’ve built. The first thing you do is program it to work in a certain way. Unlike any sci-fi movies you may have seen, this robot is incapable of doing anything it hasn’t been programmed to do.

Your subconscious mind works just like that. Over the years you’ve been “programmed” by the things you’ve seen, the things you’ve heard, and the things you’ve done. Your thoughts and beliefs are embedded in there, and they get fed out to your conscious mind, making you think you’re deciding all this stuff consciously… but you’re not.

That’s why so many people find it hard to quit smoking using their willpower alone, or to find the motivation to exercise more, or to lose weight. It’s almost impossible to make any real changes that have a significant impact on your waking or conscious life, unless you first make those changes at a subconscious level.

With subliminal technology, your subconscious mind gets bombarded with positive messages that can literally change the way you think. They bypass the conscious mind completely, below the threshold, so that this logical mind doesn’t get in the way. The more your subconscious mind is exposed to these new ideas, the easier it is for you to alter your behavior, and that gives you the chance to change your programming from the inside out.

Subliminal messages are presented in the form of audio or visual stimuli – background sounds or flashing images – that you aren’t even aware of. They sneak into your subconscious mind and start working to change your attitudes, making it easy to break bad habits and develop new, positive ones, and giving you that extra push you need to take your life in a whole new direction.

You might have enormous willpower and determination, but on their own they simply aren’t enough. That’s why so many people give up on their New Year’s resolutions after a month or two… because deep down they haven’t actually changed anything. To do that, you need to get at your subconscious mind and input the new programming that will help you change your beliefs – and ultimately allow you to reach your goal.

Download your free subliminal MP3s now at http://tinyurl.com/nrxqnlu

What makes subliminal messages so effective? The secret behind them is a fact that advertisers have known for decades; the more people are exposed to something, the easier it is to influence them.

Suppose, for example, that you want to give up smoking. You know it’s bad for your health, it’s expensive, and it’s becoming more and more anti-social. You have the desire to give up, for all the right reasons, but just can’t seem to take it to that final stage.

Believe it or not, your conscious mind is getting in the way. No matter what you really think, you don’t have the ability to put it into practice in the regular course of events. Your day is busy, you’ve got lots of other things on your mind, and you haven’t given the idea of quitting smoking enough priority.

The Subliminal Advantage

Subliminal messages are positive affirmations presented to your ears or eyes at a rate or volume that your conscious mind is unable to detect. Your subconscious mind, however, takes in everything. These messages bypass your logical conscious state and go directly to your subconscious. If messages are sent frequently enough they’ll start to change the way you think, and therefore the way you behave.

Someone who wants to give up smoking might be presented with subliminal messages similar to these:

  • I am stronger than cigarettes
  • I respect and nurture my body
  • I am able to resist the temptation of smoking

Reading these three short affirmations on a page won’t produce any magical results within your subconscious mind. But imagine the impact if, instead of three messages, your subconscious was exposed to thousands – over and over again – for a couple of weeks. All the research shows the same thing: gradually your attitude changes, and then your behavior.

How Subliminal Messages Work

Some people argue that, if you can’t hear the sounds, or you can’t see the images, how can they possibly make any difference? The point is that you aren’t aware that you’re hearing or seeing the messages, but your subconscious mind still takes them in. That’s the reason why subliminal messages work in the first place – because they sneak into your head, bypassing your conscious rational mind, and getting at the core of your belief system.

You’re exposed to subliminal messages every day. You might have the radio on in the morning when you drive to work and keep hearing about a new film that’s just come out. The first time you hear it you give it your attention. As the days turn into weeks you’re no longer consciously listening to it, but the information flows into your subconscious mind. If it’s a film that interests you, this constant subtle reminder will probably be enough to get you to go to the cinema and watch it.

Now think how powerful that process would be if it was something you desperately wanted to achieve, like giving up smoking. Your determination combined with the mind-changing power of those positive affirmations makes a winning formula. Eventually you’ll think of smoking as a disgusting, destructive habit that you can’t believe you started in the first place.

If you really and truly want to make lasting changes in your behavior but can’t seem to find the impetus to get going, try subliminal messages. You’ve got nothing to lose and the chance to gain a new and more rewarding lifestyle.

Change Your Life with Subliminal Messages

Suppose someone told you it was possible to increase your productivity, lose weight, gain confidence, enhance your memory, or learn a language… just by sitting in front of your computer screen and getting on with your work.

If that’s really feasible, it’s a bit of a no-brainer, isn’t it? Lose weight or learn French without even getting out of your chair. Keep on doing what you normally do every day and improve the quality of your life at the same time, without expending any additional effort. How could you even consider passing up the chance?

What kind of magical process is behind this amazing potential? It’s something you’ve probably heard about, something that’s so powerful it’s been banned from advertising the world over. It’s called subliminal technology.

The Power of Hidden Messages

Don’t let that last sentence scare you. The reason subliminal messages have been banned from advertising is not because they’re intrinsically dangerous, but because they’re so powerful! They can help guide your thinking, subtly, without you even realizing.

With subliminal messaging products, you get to control that process yourself. You decide exactly what to focus your subliminal messages on, and when and for how long you are exposed to them.

Research has shown that subliminal messages are most effective when they are used with a specific goal in mind. So, for example, if you were desperate to quit smoking, your motivation in combination with the right subliminal messages would be enough to spur you on to achieve your objective. If you really want to quit, the messages will help you reach your goal. But, practically, how does this all work?

Subliminal messages target the subconscious mind. They bypass the conscious, logical brain and go straight to the subconscious. Their ability to get “into your head” so to speak gives them incredible power… and here’s the reason why.

The subconscious is a million times more influential than the conscious mind. When you’re conscious, or awake, you’re generally only able to focus on one thing at a time. You don’t have the strength or the energy to spend your waking moments sifting through your beliefs to make deep and lasting changes – there’s simply too much other stuff to get done.

Your subconscious, however, is always awake, always receptive, and always working away in the background. Everything you do, see, hear, and experience gets taken in and stored for later use. Whatever you think, feel, and believe comes down to whatever is in your subconscious, and in order to change any of those feelings or beliefs, you have to change the programming in your subconscious mind.

Take fear, for example; many people have phobias that they know are completely irrational. In the conscious world they can sit down and tell you that their fear of water is illogical, that it doesn’t make any sense, and that they know they’re not going to drown by walking along the shore. But that doesn’t stop them from being afraid.

To do that, they have to get at the source of the fear itself. They have to somehow slip under the radar of the conscious mind and communicate with the subconscious, altering their programming from the inside out. And that’s what makes subliminal technology such an extraordinarily powerful tool for deep and lasting change.

The Mindset of an Entrepreneur

Broke is a temporary condition. Poor is different. Poor is a state of mind. You can be broke and still be rich in spirit, rich in ambition, rich in courage, rich in determination. It costs nothing to dream big, and it costs not one rupee more to dream huge. No matter how broke you might be, the only way you will become poor is by giving up on your dreams.
People who dream small dreams continue to live lives of as small people. Big people have big dreams and small people have small dreams. If you want to change who you are, begin by changing the size of your dream.
"I can't afford it" or "How can I afford it?"
As small as the difference between these statements may seem, it makes all the difference.
That small shift in thinking,    multiplied by the experiences, perceptions, and decisions of a lifetime, will take you to a place that is millions of miles away from where you would have landed without that shift.
When you make a habit of asking  yourself,
" How can I afford that?".  you train yourself to dream bigger and bigger dreams, and not only to have those dreams but to believe that you can make them come true.
Wealth is not the same thing as money. Wealth is not measured by the size of income. Wealth is measured in time.
One reason the rich get richer is that the rich work for a different kind of money. They don't work to generate income---they work to build wealth. There is a vast difference between the two.
Most of us were thought in school to become employees not owner of the business. There was only one right answer in exam and  making mistakes was horrible. We were not taught financial literacy in school. It takes a lot of work and time to change your thinking and to become financial literate.
A business person knows that there are multiple right answers and the best learning comes through making mistakes and that financial literacy is essential to being successful.
To become Rich; you must teach yourself to think like a RICH PERSON.
Be aware of people who want to kill your dreams. There is nothing worse than a friend or loved one killing your dreams.
There are people who may innocently or not so innocently, say things such as:
1."You can't do that."
2."That is too risky. Do you know      how many people fail ?"
3."Don't be silly. Where do you come up with such ideas?"
4."If it is such a good idea, why hasn't someone else done it before ?"
5."Oh I tried that years ago. Let me tell you why it won't work."
People who kill other people's dreams are people who have given up on their own dreams. People are not successful financially mainly because they cannot sell. They cannot sell because they lack self confidence, they are afraid of rejection, and they cannot ask for the orders.
If you are serious about being an entrepreneur and need more sales and confidence development, I strongly recommend finding a network marketing company with a good training program, stick with it for at least five years, and learn to be a confident salesperson.
A successful salesperson is not afraid of approaching people, not afraid of being criticized or rejected, and not afraid of asking for the cheque.
Keep going, keep minding your own business, keep being true to your dreams and all your dreams will come true.
