The Mindset of an Entrepreneur

Broke is a temporary condition. Poor is different. Poor is a state of mind. You can be broke and still be rich in spirit, rich in ambition, rich in courage, rich in determination. It costs nothing to dream big, and it costs not one rupee more to dream huge. No matter how broke you might be, the only way you will become poor is by giving up on your dreams.
People who dream small dreams continue to live lives of as small people. Big people have big dreams and small people have small dreams. If you want to change who you are, begin by changing the size of your dream.
"I can't afford it" or "How can I afford it?"
As small as the difference between these statements may seem, it makes all the difference.
That small shift in thinking,    multiplied by the experiences, perceptions, and decisions of a lifetime, will take you to a place that is millions of miles away from where you would have landed without that shift.
When you make a habit of asking  yourself,
" How can I afford that?".  you train yourself to dream bigger and bigger dreams, and not only to have those dreams but to believe that you can make them come true.
Wealth is not the same thing as money. Wealth is not measured by the size of income. Wealth is measured in time.
One reason the rich get richer is that the rich work for a different kind of money. They don't work to generate income---they work to build wealth. There is a vast difference between the two.
Most of us were thought in school to become employees not owner of the business. There was only one right answer in exam and  making mistakes was horrible. We were not taught financial literacy in school. It takes a lot of work and time to change your thinking and to become financial literate.
A business person knows that there are multiple right answers and the best learning comes through making mistakes and that financial literacy is essential to being successful.
To become Rich; you must teach yourself to think like a RICH PERSON.
Be aware of people who want to kill your dreams. There is nothing worse than a friend or loved one killing your dreams.
There are people who may innocently or not so innocently, say things such as:
1."You can't do that."
2."That is too risky. Do you know      how many people fail ?"
3."Don't be silly. Where do you come up with such ideas?"
4."If it is such a good idea, why hasn't someone else done it before ?"
5."Oh I tried that years ago. Let me tell you why it won't work."
People who kill other people's dreams are people who have given up on their own dreams. People are not successful financially mainly because they cannot sell. They cannot sell because they lack self confidence, they are afraid of rejection, and they cannot ask for the orders.
If you are serious about being an entrepreneur and need more sales and confidence development, I strongly recommend finding a network marketing company with a good training program, stick with it for at least five years, and learn to be a confident salesperson.
A successful salesperson is not afraid of approaching people, not afraid of being criticized or rejected, and not afraid of asking for the cheque.
Keep going, keep minding your own business, keep being true to your dreams and all your dreams will come true.
